Challenge

Coca-Cola’s 2025 U.S. & Canada Christmas campaign required a fresh creative approach after the brand faced criticism in 2024 for AI content that looked dated and inauthentic. The challenge was to build a robust image bank of Christmas scenes and evolve them into moving storyboards that felt polished, festive, and cinematic — while overcoming skepticism around AI-driven holiday storytelling.

solution

I curated a tailored AI image library of holiday environments, families, and festive moments, then used advanced image-to-video generation to bring those stills to life. The focus was on realism, emotional warmth, and continuity of motion, ensuring the content felt organic and closer to live-action. The storyboard was refined with cinematic pacing and framing to align with Coca-Cola’s brand identity and high production standards.

The result was a curated image depository and a storyboarded video sequence that captured the magic of the holidays while pushing past the shortcomings of last year’s AI work. The deliverable not only provided Coca-Cola with near-production-quality video assets but also restored creative confidence by demonstrating how AI tools could produce realistic, emotionally resonant holiday storytelling.
