Produce a polished, finished video advertisement for the Korean Tourism Organization that could serve both as an online campaign and as in-house content across the 8 South Korean Consulates in the United States. The only creative reference provided was a set of older TV ads from the late 1980s and early 1990s, which established the general tone and composition to be reimagined for a modern audience.
Leveraging AI-driven creative tools, I combined two production workflows: generating still images through image-to-video pipelines and animating them with AI, alongside direct prompt-to-video generation. By compositing and refining the strongest results from both approaches, I crafted a cohesive advert that honored the nostalgic aesthetic of the original TV spots while presenting a contemporary, visually dynamic narrative.
The final AI-produced advertisement was successfully distributed as part of the online campaign and showcased on POS screens across all U.S. consulates and the Washington Embassy. The project not only delivered a finished production on a limited timeline but also demonstrated how AI workflows can replicate the cinematic quality of traditional shoots—generating excitement and visibility for Korean Tourism in key U.S. cultural and diplomatic hubs.
